| Résumé : | Moroccan Trilogy 1950-2020 articulates a visual dialogue that reflects artistic production at three historical junctures, from independence to the present day. It does so through a significant selection of artworks that show the diversity of initiatives, the vitality of artistic debate and interdisciplinary exchanges in Morocco. The publication is conceived at once from a historical-chronological perspective and thematic viewpoint, bringing together texts by authors from different spheres such as the poet Abdellatif La?abi, director Ali Essafi and architect Selma Zerhouni. As a whole, they form a narrative and memory of the forms of expression that contribute to transforming, via culture, modern times, and lay the foundations for writing on cultural and political history that evades the colonial inheritance of our gaze. |
